Northbox Distributions is the oldest and largest pamphlet and brochure distributor specialising solely in the area from Sydney harbour and Gladesville bridges through the northern districts, north shore and northern beaches. We have few new walkers and have a general policy of seeking adult walkers, preferably adults who already walk regularly, and impress as responsible and reliable people. Some work in groups with a constant supervisor, while others are checked later on completion of their job. The majority of our walkers have proven their reliability over many years. They are, of course, closely supervised particularly in their early days. We are very selective in choosing our walkers - few people who apply for a job with Northbox are actually engaged. We get very few catalogs or similar and they are delivered solo. Quite a few jobs go solo or with just one other non-competitive flyer. The main features of Northbox are the fact that no walker delivers more than four items at a time and most are single cards. Independently and locally owned, Northbox has built an envious record of reliability and has accumulated much knowledge and data on Sydney's northern suburbs. (more).
